"Projection" is the third studio album by Joint Depression, a Finnish rock/metal band (Maria Liikanen, Sami Räisänen, Jari Perttu, Kimmo Kuoppamaa, Jani Kuorikoski), released on November 11, 2022 via Luminol Records. The nine tracks are presented as personal reflections on global events from an individual human perspective, touching on themes such as ambition, choice, regret, addiction, and modern urban alienation. Musically, the album combines fast, riff-driven songs with slower, reflective compositions, incorporating progressive rock structures ("Deep Red") and elements of traditional Eastern world music ("Third Day"), closing on an acoustic-based track ("Dimensions").
