Amelia and other favourites is the second solo album by guitarist Lucio Lazzaruolo, a founder of Notturno Concertante, originally released in 2009 and now reissued in a remastered version by Raffaele Villanova. It is devoted to the classical guitar and covers works from different eras, from processional dances of the 1500s to the baroque of Gaspar Sanz, and from Fernando Sor and Johann Kaspar Mertz to Heitor Villa-Lobos and Antonio Lauro. It also includes a transcription for two guitars of the Andante from Vivaldi's Concerto in G minor RV 532. The cover is by Fabio Mingarelli, with graphic design by Villanova. The album was cited by Il Manifesto among the ten best records of 2009.
