The "Fasciani Placidi Ombres" trio was born from the will of bassist Roberto Fasciani (Mark Boals, Michael Angelo Batio, Fabio Frizzi, Novembre...) to create a band and play songs that he wrote during the years. When he met guitarist Pierluigi Placidi (Dean Bowman, Pierpaolo Ferroni...), the songs take a more concrete form, finally having a chance to share the same vision of making music.
The collaboration between the two lays the foundation for the band's sound: instrumental rock/fusion music with influences ranging from Primus to Scott Henderson, to name a few.
The goal is to make music by paying close attention to songwriting while maintaining a strong improvisational feel. With the arrival of drummer Danilo Ombres (Tony Armetta, Ludovico Piccinini, Luca Barberini) the band finally starts the production of the album and live activity, enhanced by the collaboration with American singer Dean Bowman (Screaming Headless Torsos, Lester Bowie, Meshell Ndegeocello, Uri Cane, Don Byron, Elliott Sharp, John Scofield...) for a tour in Italy.
